RetailRPX Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account and business information may include your name, email address, organization or store information, and account identifiers.

Retail operations information may include products, inventory, sales, purchases, customers, suppliers, payments, expenses, and reports.

WhatsApp-related information may include a customer or mobile number, WhatsApp sender number, customer message text, message timestamps, product inquiry information, and delivery or status metadata.

Technical and security information may include authentication information, logs, device, browser, or network information where applicable, and security or audit information.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide RetailRPX services; authenticate and authorize users; operate retailer workflows; answer WhatsApp product-availability requests; provide customer communication features; secure and troubleshoot the service; improve reliability; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. WhatsApp Business integration

When a retailer enables a WhatsApp integration, RetailRPX may process incoming WhatsApp messages for that business. Registered customer phone numbers may be matched with RetailRPX customer records, and product and inventory information may be used to answer availability questions.

Current P2.11A availability inquiries do not themselves create sales, orders, payments, or inventory movements. Message delivery is provided through Meta and WhatsApp infrastructure.

4. AI processing

RetailRPX may provide AI-assisted functionality. This does not mean that all RetailRPX data is sent to AI service providers.

For the current WhatsApp availability assistant, product and customer matching and availability responses are processed using RetailRPX's application logic unless the functionality explicitly states otherwise.

5. Third-party service providers

We may use service providers to operate RetailRPX, including Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform, cloud hosting providers, database hosting providers, authentication and security providers, and AI service providers when AI functionality is used. These providers process information to deliver contracted services; their involvement does not mean they own RetailRPX customer data.

6. Data sharing

RetailRPX does not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers where necessary to operate the service, comply with law, protect security, or act at the customer's direction.

7. Data retention

Data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy business and legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements. The appropriate period depends on the type of information and why it is processed.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International processing

RetailRPX infrastructure may process or store information outside the user's country, subject to applicable law and appropriate contractual and security safeguards.

10. User and customer rights

Depending on applicable law, users and customers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or exercise other applicable privacy rights, through the RetailRPX contact channel below. We may need to verify identity and authority before acting on a request.

11. Children's privacy

RetailRPX is a business and retail platform. It is not intended as a consumer service directed to children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to RetailRPX, our practices, or applicable requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above.
